REGISTRATION DATES FOR THE REGULAR SEASON ATOMS:

Saturday April 7th from 1-4 pm
Saturday 21st from 1-4 pm
ALL REGISTRATIONS AT ALDERGROVE COMMUNITY LEAGUE- 8535-182 STREET
A Monday night Registration date will be added at a later date.
Fees for the 2012 season are: $275 for registrations fees and $250 for volunteer fees. This will include a new girdle for each player.

Message:
Season’s Greetings to all. The 2011 Raider season
is now complete. We congratulate our Atom, Peewee and Bantam players and coaches
on a great season. A special congratulation goes Chris Litzgus and the Atom
players and coaches for winning the Tier 2 City Championship. The Raider Executive
would also like to thank all the parents and volunteers who helped make this
season a success, without you we could not have fielded 3 very competitive
teams.
We are looking forward to our 2012 season that is right around the corner.
Our Midget program will begin taking registrations in January, with practices
beginning in March. We are actively developing an off-season training program
for our Bantam and Peewee players that will begin in January 2012. Stay tuned
to the website and your email for more information on both of these programs.
The 2012 season will be about growing our club. To that end we will be launching
the player development program mentioned above along with unique promotional
projects that are currently in development. Parents who wish to get involved
to support the club please contact a member of the Raider Executive for information.
To every Raider family member and future Raiders we wish you all the best
during the holiday season and wish you the best in New Year.

RAIDER YEAR END BANQUET & AWARDS DINNER
Well Raiders it is almost that time of year
again, the banquet is around the corner.
We will be selling banquet tickets at our games in Millwoods this weekend
so please get them early.

Raider Picture
Day will be Sunday October 2nd in Johnny Bright Bowl.
Atoms will start at 11:00 am.
Bantams will go second at 12:00.
Peewees will go at 1:00.
Please arrive on time. There is no alternate time so please make sure to keep
that date free and please make sure you show up on time...we will take the
individual pictures first and then the team picture last, if you show up late
you will not be in the team picture! Please ensure that you show up dressed
in complete uniforms INCLUDING socks....

We are still accepting registrations for the 2011 fall season
for both our PeeWee team ages 11-12 and our Bantam team ages 13-14" Practices
are currently being held Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 6-8 pm. Our registrar
will be available on these nights.

Last Football registration will be held on April 30th from
10:00 to 1:00 at Aldergrove Community League (8535 - 182 St)
FIELDS UPDATE: the city of Edmonton has tentatively opened our fields on May
2nd. Please check the city sports field site http://coewebapps.edmonton.ca/external/CommunityServices/SportsFieldStatus.aspx
on Monday. If the fields are open we will practice at Jasper Place. If the
fields are closed we will practice at Aldergrove in the rinks.
Coaches will decide practices for the rest of the week on Monday.

The 2011 regular season is about to start!! On May 2nd we will have our first practice. Right now we are hoping to have it at Jasper Place, we would all meet at the field between Johnny Bright Bowl and Bill Hunter Arena at 6:00pm. The City of Edmonton hasn't opened regular fields yet, so please keep checking the website. If the fields aren't open we will move practice to Aldergrove Community League (8535- 182 St). Remember to wear comfortable clothes and your cleats, and bring a water bottle! Equipment issue will start early May. See you all soon!

Our Midget program is firing up in 2011, please mark your
calendars for the following dates: Midget registration dates are Monday January
24th and Monday January 31 at Aldergrove Community League (8535-182 Street)
in the hockey change room from 6:30-8:00pm. Fees for the Midget program are
$250 with no volunteer commitment.
More information on the season and coaching staff will follow soon.
