Hi Everyone,
A couple of things to update you all on:
Thank-you all for the responses to my question about practice times when school goes back in next week. Overwhelming parent response favored an early start time so as of WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 1st we will be practicing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to the end of the season.
Banquet tickets will go on sale on September 1st as well. All players are free, any parents and siblings need to buy a ticket for an additional $20 per ticket cost. This is a great night, with lots of trophies for the players. It is scheduled for Sunday December 12th. Tickets will be on sale at the clubhouse!
Photo day is coming up on Sunday September 12th. Pictures will be taken in the bowl by Next level Digital Imaging, and they have extra items you can order at that time. All players receive an individual 5x7 and a team picture. There will be no retakes or photoshopping players or coaches in to pictures, so please ensure you keep that day free on your calendar. Exact times for teams will be announced soon.
The club has always strived to keep fees low and football affordable, but of course running a club of this size is very expensive. Every two years the club has a casino, and the funds we receive from that casino are essential for us to continue. Our next casino is on January 15 and 16 of next year. If you work a shift we count that as $100.00 towards your volunteer fees for next year, and we take that right off the top of your volunteer fees at next years registration. Please come in to the clubhouse and sign up to work our next casino, you can work one or more shifts, you will be feed well, it is a lot of fun, you earn a great credit for next years football, and you are supporting a wonderful football program!!
Thanks,
Deb
